This is my favorite recipe because I love watermelon. Not only it tastes good but being a great source of water itself, watermelon has a lot of health benefits. It has the amino acid that lowers down the blood pressure thus reducing the risk of heart diseases. Watermelon has more than 90% water thus help you stay hydrated for long and since it is fiber rich fruit subsequently helps in reducing extra pounds.
Mint cools the stomach, improves digestion, aids weight loss, and cures skin- bonus!! Cucumber is low in calories and has an antioxidant that supports the production of collagen which is great for your skin as well. On the other hand, Lemon is high in Vitamin C and is a significant metabolism booster. This is perfect infused water for weight loss and energy.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup watermelon
- ½ cup sliced cucumber
- 3 lemon slices
- 5-6 mint leaves, crushed
How to prepare:
Soak all the ingredients in the water overnight. The longer you will infuse fruits into the water, the strongest the flavor and more nutrients will leak into it.
