Stellar fashion showcase sparkles trends in the capital

As the hangover of India Couture Week 2018 wears off, the capital still finds the flare of the fashion fever. The significant number of prominent designers showcased their latest exclusive designs at standalone events across the city.

July is the month when Delhi braces itself for some much awaited India Couture Week. Here we bring you the latest lines showcased by renowned designers at Stellar Fashion Showcase.

Ashima-Leena

For their 2018 couture collection, Ashima-Leena’s designs focused on Mughal royalty. The line is called Khwabeeda – you should explore it if you want to feel like a Mughal Begums. This line is available mostly in the shades of pastel pink, ivory, and gold with pops of black and gold, bottle green, plum, and bronze.

Payal Jain

The designer flaunted signature subtle notes in the form of a muted palette dominated by shades of white. The designs were hand-crafted with intricate chikankari, traditional mirror work, resham dori embroidery and zardosi.

Neeta Lulla

The designer held the Couture Wedding show at DLF Emporio with her collection called La Belle Epoque. The choices we saw were in the form of pearl embroidery, tassels, braids, and fringing.

 Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna

The designer kicked off their collection keeping the muted marine theme in mind. The color palette offered elegant sea pearl, ivory white, clear silver, and light gold. The fabrics of choice were tulle, satiny silk keeping summer fashion trends in mind.
