Colorbar All Day Lip & Cheek Color Blush Stick (Coral Sunset 004) Review

Colorbar has recently introduced some really exciting launches this season and Colorbar All Day Lip & Cheek Color Blush Stick is one of them. I am not really someone who gets excited over a luxurious brand just by the credibility. For me, it’s always been about the optimum usage and the perfect outcome even if the offering is not branded.

Why I couldn’t hold myself from buying one because of its versatile nature as it can be used as blush, eyeshadow and lip color. Sounds exciting? Let’s find out if it lives up to the expectation in Colorbar 2 in 1 blush stick review.

Product Description

I bought this Colorbar all day lip & cheek color blush stick 5g gram Coral Sunset 004 crayon stick for Rs. 1200. It has a cool toned pink color (Ideal for light skin tone). It’s a 2 in 1 product that works as blusher and lip color, however, you can also use it as an eyeshadow as well. Blush stick’s consistency is not very creamy instead of dry and thick so it will take the time to blend in. For those who are chemical finicky, ladies! This is absolutely fragrance and paraben free product.

Pros:

  1. Best on the go 2 in 1 blush and lip tint
  2. Blends well
  3. Good packaging
  4. Easy to carry
  5. Matte finish

Cons:

  1. Slightly overpriced
  2. Not good as lip color
  3. Could have more color options

My Experience with Colorbar All Day Lip & Cheek Color Blush Stick

It has a weightless texture that doesn’t feel creamy or sticky at all and stays on your skin for almost good 4-5 hours; just one stroke and you are done. Finish is thin in a matte shade, you may notice tiny shimmer flecks which create a perfect look for any occasion or you can wear it daily as a lip stain as well.

Since the blush stick has a thick consistency, you might end up applying the extra product. It’s not a proper lip tint so don’t expect luscious looking lips. Moreover, you might see cracks on your lips since it is a bit dry in nature and settles badly on your lips. For your convenience, I have done some swatches, have a look at them.

I tried this blush on the darker shade as well and it was looking muted on tone. Of course, that is not a con of the product; all shades are not meant to work for every skin tone. This product is beauty on your fingerprints girls, it is easy to carry around and eliminates the need of carrying three different products when you are on the go. Not being a consistent user of blush and eyeshadows, I was expecting it to work as a lip shade as well but certainly it doesn’t work at par also, the quantity is too less for the price.
